We are seeking a motivated, resourceful and highly organized Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support directly to our founders, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, planning meetings, and writing correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
It is a great opportunity to work directly with founders at a growing company and learn every aspect of running a business. This job will cover both personal and business tasks and the ideal candidate will be able to context switch to help keep everything organized.
THE RESPONSIBILITY
Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person
Schedule appointments and maintain a calendar
Organize meetings and take accurate minutes
Write emails, memos, and letters and distribute them appropriately Make travel arrangements Running errands Assisting with day to day tasks Maintains discretion of all work
Maintain an organized filing system
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
THE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred
Previous experience as an Assistant or in a similar position
Familiarity with standard office equipment and computer skills Resourceful Engaging and outgoing personality
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
