Job Summary:
The Assistant Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations in our pediatric office. In this position, you will assist in managing office functions, while also providing some support as a Medical Assistants to our patients and healthcare providers. Potential for further growth. Responsibilities
Assist in managing office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and customer service.
Oversee patient check-in/check-out procedures and assist with billing and insurance verification.
Manage office inventory, including medical supplies and office materials.
Supervise and train office staff to ensure high levels of patient care and office efficiency.
Provide clinical support, including taking patient vitals, assisting with exams, administering vaccinations, and performing basic lab tests.
Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Answer phone calls, address patient concerns, and ensure a positive patient experience.
Collaborate with the Practice Manager and other team members to improve office workflow and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or certification in Medical Assisting preferred.
Medical Assistant certification required (RMA, CMA, or similar).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a healthcare or a pediatric office setting, with a strong understanding of office management procedures.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with medical software, scheduling systems, and office equipment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with professionalism and care.
