    We’re seeking a proactive, bilingual (English/Spanish) Assistant Operations Manager to learn and eventually oversee and optimize our production, packaging, inventory, and logistics processes. In this role, you will work alongside the Production Manager, production and packaging teams, and other team members to manage the flow of orders, ensure our inventory systems are accurate, coordinate purchasing and receiving, and influence the teams responsible for producing and packaging our products.

    The ideal candidate is a leader with solid experience in a production environment — especially in production/assembly management and inventory control — and is comfortable working with inventory management systems and other business software. This is a key role with a clear path to leadership.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Production & Packaging Teams Oversight

    Measure and influence workflows, quality control, and on-time completion of production orders.

    Create and optimize production schedules and workflows.

    Inventory Management & Systems

    Maintain accurate inventory records in an inventory management system; conduct regular cycle counts and audits.

    Track and optimize inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods; prevent shortages or overstock situations.

    Purchasing & Receiving

    Manage purchasing of raw materials and supplies, including vendor relations, cost optimization, and timely deliveries.

    Oversee the receiving process, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and updating inventory records accordingly.

    Logistics & Shipping

    Coordinate shipments to major distribution centers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart), ensuring compliance with their requirements.

    Schedule and track deliveries, troubleshoot shipping delays, and partner with carriers or 3PL providers as needed.

    Process Improvement & Reporting

    Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in production, ordering, and fulfillment processes; implement solutions to streamline workflows.

    Generate and analyze weekly/monthly reports on orders, inventory, and shipping metrics.

    Use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to maintain and share data-driven insights.

    Requirements:

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Production or assembly line experience.

    People Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.

    Order Management Experience: Familiar with end-to-end order processing, preferably using QuickBooks Online or similar systems.

    Inventory Management Experience: Proficiency with inventory control systems and procedures.

    Purchasing & Receiving: Experience placing purchase orders, negotiating delivery terms and pricing with vendors, and verifying received goods.

    Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.

    Physical Ability: Able to lift 50 pounds safely.

    Willing to start hands-on and learn each step of our production procedure with the intent to lead part or all of the processes eventually

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experienced with production and/or inventory management

    Strong Communication Skills: Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.

    Some College or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
