We are new owners seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Room Preschool Teacher to join our team! We are building a supportive team of educators, with a focus on nurturing a healthy work/life balance.
Responsibilities:
Assists and supervises children during ALL activities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities
Utilize various teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences
Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records
Completes all academy and classroom paperwork: daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports, etc
Follows Kiddie Academy and PA state regulations on all health and safety policies and regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning
Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up
Ensures classroom medication schedule is followed, when applicable
Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings

Experience:
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or daycare setting (1 year).
Associates or Bachelors degree, preferred, but not required
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices
Strong understanding of child development milestones and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere
Qualifications and Certifications:
Must be 18yrs, or older
U.S. work authorization, if applicable
