As an Assistant Teacher at the Primrose School of Sprayberry at East Cobb, you’ll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. You’ll help guide these little ones through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.

Hourly compensation is $14.50 to $16.00, depending on experience and education

Set Schedule Monday- Friday

8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm

Closed Weekends, Nights and Holidays

Paid Time Off (PTO)

40 hours =1 year, 80 hours= 2-5 years, 120 hours= 5+ years

Qualifications:

Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency

Background screening required

Prior experience working in early childhood education, preschool, PreK, daycare or childcare center setting preferred

Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
