    The Position:

    We are looking for an organized candidate who wants to grow with our company, will take pride in their work, and has a positive attitude and can be flexible. Someone who can juggle multiple task and work in a fast-paced environment when needed. This will be a combination of some administration duties along with project management duties and close working relationship with Head of Project management and the Skilled Trade Department. The ideal candidate will have some construction experience or associated degree, but does not necessarily need management experience. There will be a lot of on-the-job learning. Seeking an organized individual for this fast-paced industry while multi-tasking different ongoing jobs at different levels.

    Responsibilities:

    Organization, flexibility, excellent customer focus, and strong communication are critical in performing duties which may include:

    Work with Preconstruction on project estimate and schedule in terms of performing cost control and financial management for project’s

    Coordinate scopes of work

    Review and compile pay applications and change requests

    Partner with the Project Manager

    Draft client proposals

    Contract administration and management

    Award subcontracts

    Provide direction to the project team for safe and timely project completion

    Act as liaison for project engineers, architectures and ESI work force.

    Provide job assignments and lead career development

    Lead subcontractors and suppliers for the project

    Facilitate and lead meetings between subcontractors related to project coordination

    Printing plans and pulling permits with town.

    Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including but not limited to, reports, presentations, etc.

    Assist with the preparation of project schedules and deliverables.

    Ordering materials

    Daily monitoring of project schedule and phase of each project.

    Good attitude, team player, and desire to please.

    Qualifications:

    Some construction related experience or degree preferred.

    At least one year of experience in a similar role.

    At least 1-2 years’ experience reading construction documents.

    Good communication and problem-solving skills.

    1-2 Years experience working with AIA documents, Excel, and Projects etc

    Being bilingual in English and Spanish would be an asset, however speaking Spanish is not a required qualification.

    Certifications:

    OSHA 10

    Valid Driver’s License

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
