    Seeking an Assistant Property Manager with strong property management skills and customer service experience to assist the GM in operations and administration of this 954-garden style condominium community located in Bethesda, MD. Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Dental • Vision • Short-term disability • Life insurance • Paid time off • Bonus provision for high performance Responsibilities: Maintaining a High Level of Public Relations and Customer Service • Handling all customer service and public relations with courtesy, professionalism, and efficiency. • Working collaboratively with all departments, board members, and committee chairs toward common goals. • Utilize all possible communication outlets to keep the residents promptly informed as to developments within the buildings affecting them. This would include such things as utilizing the bulletin board, newsletter, and letters to individual residents and/or owners both individually and collectively. • Providing residents with informative communications on Association events, news, maintenance updates, etc. • Overseeing the development, maintenance, and updating of Parkside’s website. Administration • Following all systems of record keeping and office procedures. • Understanding and following all policies, procedures, county, and state regulations in condominium management. Supervising Staff • Assign job assignments, explaining duties, policies, and procedures. • Training and supervising for exemplary customer service. • Providing a positive workplace environment. • Oversee the hallway cleaners and ensure the cleanliness of the buildings to ensure the cleanliness of the buildings. Assisting the GM in the Management of Operations as Needed • Assist the General Manager in conducting weekly inspections of the buildings and grounds as necessary, noting areas of improvement. • Assist the General Manager to Inspect the mechanical areas of buildings with particular emphasis on the proper performance of established maintenance programs, to ensure the success of the preventive maintenance program. • Assist the General Manage to purchase the necessary supplies, and replacement items required for property operations and building maintenance not specifically assigned to responsible department heads. • Assist with the preparation of written reports for the association and board, including monthly reports on work order maintenance performed, progress and status of projects, financial operating statements, balance sheets, budgets, status of collections, and various other management reports. • Attend monthly Board of Directors meetings, the Annual Meeting, and committee meetings as needed. • Understand and execute financial operating procedures, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. Qualifications: • Three years’ experience in community association management. • Knowledge of community association governing processes, board of directors’ support, meetings, administrative management, record keeping, rule enforcement, and contract vendor management. • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. • Excellent public relations skills, effectively communicating with the community, board, and committees. • Excellent customer service skills. • Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly
