We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team! As a an Assistant Manager to the owner, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s FOH/BOH operational performance during your shift. You will create employee schedules, supervise staff, and assign duties to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with restaurant experience. Will need to assist the manager and owners when they are not on site. This is a very pivotal role to work with the managers and owners to grow this business into a multi site operation. You may have to jump in and server, clean a table and or expedite in the kitchen. Will not consider fast food managers!
Responsibilities:
Train and manage server employees and assign duties as needed
Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
Resolve customer complaints gracefully and with tact
Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
Maintain appropriate cleanliness, orders and manage the dinning room
Cover the shifts of absent employees and serve if required
Ordering of food and inventory
Scheduling
Qualifications:
High school diploma/ prefer College Degree
Previous food service experience FOH/BOH 5 years min
Super Competent and Detailed Orientated
Must me able to manage staff
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and TOAST POS software
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent management and leadership skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Handle Cash Management and End of Day Closing
Able to train and evaluate staff to management's expectations
