    Assistant Store Manager (Assistant Makery Manager)

    Join Buff City Soap on a mission to create handmade products that are not only free of harsh ingredients, but also full of nourishing, plant-based goodies for happy skin. Buff City Soap products are made fresh daily in each soap makery with ingredients you can pronounce. We're seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our team in the Forsyth/Alpharetta location.

    As Assistant Store Manager, you'll be responsible for creating a high energy, positive environment that supports exceptional client service. You'll play a key role in driving store performance and ensuring operational excellence, all while fostering a sense of urgency to meet established goals. You'll also lead by example, manage and supervise the makery to achieve company goals, and hold the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily operations of the makery in a fast-paced environment.

    Lead by example in all company operations, including creating a client-centric experience, meeting personal sales expectations, and ensuring product quality.

    Maintain a professional and impeccably clean makery environment.

    Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.

    Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve team members' daily performance.

    Manage and track stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.

    Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other makery manager functions.

    Assist the Store Manager in controlling top line revenue and expenses.

    Ability to work nights and weekends.

    Qualifications:

    College education preferred but not required.

    Retail sales/management experience preferred.

    Excellent communication skills at all levels.

    Skilled trainer with motivator and leadership qualities.

    Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

    Not sensitive to various scents and fragrances.

    Dexterity of hands and fingers.

    Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50lbs.

    Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

    Ability to perform makery cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
