    Position Summary/Overview

    The Assistant Sales Consultant role is an entry-level position. Ideal for someone with past experience in the construction channel, such as kitchen and bath showrooms, that wish to gain experience with audio, video, lighting, control, and shading systems in the residential and light commercial space.

    Initial responsibilities include assisting in the creation of proposals and assist in managing project details for residential and commercial projects that include audio, video, lighting, networks, alarms, and control systems for luxury residential properties and select commercial projects. The Assistant Sales Consultant will work closely with the Systems Director and Project Managers in the office and travel to job sites in the Front Range and to mountain homes as needed.

    Job Responsibilities

    Assist in the development of client proposals, presentations, and engineering documents for luxury residential and commercial projects.

    Collaborate with other CTL team member on projects.

    Meets and speak with clients, builders, architects, and interior designers throughout the sales process to close the sale, answer questions and provide follow-up instruction and technical assistance.

    Review work in progress after rough-in and trim-out for quality control purposes.

    Maintain working knowledge of all relevant developments in the field.

    Learn and use design tools such as Adobe suite of products, MS Office products, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and D-Tools to produce system designs and documentation.

    Maintain strong client relationships.

    Candidates will possess strong character, excellent sales skills, and a great attitude! Our structured sales training program will allow non-technical sales executives to succeed and excel in the company.

    Requirements

    Previous experience in sales, construction, or audio/video/automation/shading is a plus. Willingness to work hard, demonstrate perseverance, determination, and self-discipline.

    Organizational and detail driven

    Clean driving record

    Ability to pass a government background check

    Ability to work on federal projects and in schools.

    Additional Information

    Compensation is based on salary plus commission and/or bonus.

    Salary and commission commensurate with experience.
