Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa has opened a new spa in Mechanicsville, VA! We are growing rapidly and have become an addition to an already successful franchise system with over 500 locations across the US and Canada!
We are currently seeking an energetic and reliable Assistant Spa Manager to help us run our operation!

This position is designed for people who are interested in learning about the wellness industry and growing in their career. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience.

Spa experience is a plus, but not required! We will teach you everything you need to know to be successful in the spa industry.
Spa Manager Performance will be based on the following metrics:
Membership Conversion –minimum 30% membership conversion
Staffing— Service Provers Utilization of 70 – 75%. Staffing service providers and front desk to support booking volume. Success will be measured on overall provider and spa room utilization.
Brand Awareness – this will be based on lead gen and prospect count of potential members.
What you need to succeed in this role:
Community outreach to drive memberships such as public events, grass root marketing, etc.
2 to 3 years sales management experience in the salon/spa, retail, commission based or membership sales model, with a large focus on driving profitability and coaching to goals.
Driving membership conversion, retention and providing ongoing training to the front desk team.
Ability to adapt to different types of personalities in a professional and courteous way
Ability to coach a sales team and hitting sales goals, guide the staff to operate with peak efficiency through coordination, communication, and cooperation
Passion for promoting the benefits of massage and skin care treatments
Strong and clear communication skills
Maintain a clean and organized spa
Able to work weekends and flexible schedule
Able to learn new software (training will be provided)
Organized and Team player
