Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate billing and accounts receivable documents, including AIA billing, sworn statements, and waivers
• Process job billing
• Prepare subcontractor payables
• Enter material and supply accounts payable invoices in accounting software program(s)
• Assist with monthly general ledger postings
• Support the maintenance of the general ledger and reconciliation of balances
• Assist with audit requests and procedures when needed
• Assist with job setup utilizing Viewpoint Software

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Knowledge of Viewpoint is preferred
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative, and ability to work independently

Required Experience:

• Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is required
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Previous internship in Accounting required
• 1-3 years of experience working in accounting or related field
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred
