As our Assistant Starter, you'll be right in the heart of the excitement, ensuring our equine athletes get off to a perfect start.

    Your Exciting Adventure Includes:

    • Be the gate master! Guide these powerful athletes into their starting positions with skill and finesse.
    • Become the scheduling superhero - coordinate and oversee fun and effective horse schooling sessions.
    • Play detective and help maintain our special "needs extra practice" list for our more spirited horses, ensuring they get the training they need to become starting gate superstars!

    Qualifications

    Ready to join our amazing team? Here's what you'll need to bring to the starting gate:

    • A legal adult status (18+) ready for adventure!
    • Horse handling wizardry - if you can speak the language of our four-legged athletes, you're our kind of person
    • Previous starting gate experience? Awesome! If not, bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn
    • A natural leader's spirit - you'll be directing both humans and horses with your stellar communication skills
    • The agility of a cat! You'll be climbing, bending, reaching, and dancing through your day in all kinds of weather
    • A can-do attitude toward getting any necessary licenses and certifications (we'll help you with that!)
    • The ability to work harmoniously with our horse-loving community and give clear, friendly directions
