    Bricks & Minifigs is first and foremost a fun place for people of all ages to enjoy and explore their passion for LEGO®. We facilitate this by providing excellent customer service and expert LEGO knowledge for all ages and abilities. We are a store that encourages customers to reuse, rebuild and reimagine with LEGO elements. Each Bricks & Minifigs location is locally owned, and part of a nationwide franchise, headquartered in Orem, UT.

    Bricks & Minifigs is a LEGO buy, sell, trade & birthday party retail store. We offer a wide variety of new and retired LEGO sets, as well as selling bulk bricks, and individual minifigures.

    Responsibilities may include but not limited to…

    Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing the sales floor, high volume inventory, and social media accounts

    Assist in managing hiring, retention and training of staff members

    Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff

    Ensure high level of customers satisfaction through excellent service

    Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

    Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

    Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.

    Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths

    Help deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)

    Help with any additional store manager duties as needed

    Assist with events, marketing and social media campaigns, preparing product, some off-site events and handling customer trading and selling activities

    Required:

    Minimum 18 years of age is required for this position

    Prior retail management experience and customer service skills are required.

    A background in financial planning/budgeting, employee recruitment, or sales management is preferred but not required

    Knowledge of the LEGO from past to present day

    Knowledge of pop culture is necessary. Do you know all the Ninja Turtles? Have you seen all the Marvel movies? Are you fluent in Star Wars? These are just some of the things that relate directly to our day to day work, and are indispensable

    Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

    Experience level:

    Management role: 3 years minimum (Required)

    Customer service: 3 years minimum (Required)

    Loss prevention and cash management experience (Required)

    Experience with procurement and negotiation (Required)

    Familiar with LEGO product and themes (Required)

    Skilled with Word, Excel, Point-of-Sale systems (Required)

    Working Days, Hours, and Conditions:

    Full Time, Weekdays and Weekends, Open and Close Shifts, including specified holidays

    Same schedule rotates every four weeks except for November & December

    30-35 hours/week

    Physically able to lift and move heavy boxes and stand for long periods of time
