    Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for a well respected boutique shop in Rochester, NY.

    Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

    Reports To: Operations Manager & Owner

    Summary: Responsible for overseeing daily sales activities to ensure smooth operations, providing qualified staff and performing related administrative duties by performing the following duties, 40 hours per week.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Understands and upholds the company's core values.
    2. Maintains and monitors store presentation, supports brand consistency and implements the store strategy and action plan.
    3. Motivates team to complete the sales process, ensure customer satisfaction, comply with store procedures and maximize productivity.
    4. Leads the team of associates in delivering exceptional customer service to all customers.
    5. Maintains overall general knowledge of all store merchandise.
    6. Maintains overall general knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
    7. Manages day to day cash operations as needed.
    8. Performs opening and closing duties on a daily basis such as locking/unlocking store and turning on/off the computer system.
    9. Utilizes word processing system to generate order forms for internal staff use.
    10. Responds to telephone calls and directs customer inquires relating to the management of the store promptly to include servicing wholesale accounts and resolving any problems that arise. Interfaces directly with clients to resolve problems.
    11. Anticipates store staffing needs and establish priorities and courses of action to meet store staffing needs each day while maintaining budgetary responsibilities provided by the owner.
    12. Meets on a weekly basis to review policy, procedures, performance and sales projections.
    13. Develops and maintains store effectiveness through the selection, training, motivation, review and termination of store employees.
    14. Responsible for ringing sales, returns, exchanges, voids etc.
    15. Attends, conducts, and participates in meetings.
    16. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Education/Experience:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred. One to two years related supervisor and/or customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
