Assistant Superintendent
Job Description:
Assists the General Superintendent or Superintendent with various project related tasks.
Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and crew on behalf of supervisors.
Identify safety hazards, complete daily JHAs, toolbox talks, and equipment inspections. Must be OSHA 30-hour certified
Completes accurate job-related documentation on time and consistently (timesheets, job summary sheets, etc.).
Must have basic skills in Microsoft Excel.
Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
Relative work experience or a degree or certificate in a program relating to construction management.
This is a temporary position (generally 12 months) in which the Assistant Superintendent will be trained by General Superintendents and Superintendents with the purpose of then advancing into a Superintendent role.
