    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Superintendent of Wood Framing. In this role, you will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of wood framing construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management: Assist the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and coordinating wood framing activities for construction projects. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

    Supervision: Provide on-site supervision and direction to wood framing crews, subcontractors, and other construction personnel. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.

    Resource Management: Coordinate with the Superintendent to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment. Identify any resource constraints or requirements and take proactive measures to address them.

    Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that wood framing work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and address any deficiencies promptly.

    Communication: Serve as a liaison between the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Facilitate clear and open communication to resolve issues, address concerns, and ensure alignment on project objectives.

    Training and Development: Support the training and development of wood framing personnel, including apprentices and journeymen. Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to help enhance skills and performance.

    Problem Solving: Identify challenges or obstacles that may arise during the construction process and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks and keep the project on track.

    Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records. Ensure compliance with administrative requirements and reporting procedures.

    Qualifications:

    · Minimum of [X] years of experience in wood framing construction, with a demonstrated track record of progressively responsible roles.

    · Strong knowledge of wood framing techniques, materials, and building codes.

    · Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

    · Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

    · Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

    · Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.

    · OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.

    · Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred, but not required.
