As an assistant teacher, you will support a class of students through , creating and implementing a nurturing environment and a comprehensive educational curriculum. Responsibilities:

Encourage the development of children's skills

Support preparing any necessary learning materials

Support classroom teacher in daily room maintenance

Communicate information with families

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

1 year experience working with children ages birth through 5

Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Good verbal and written communication skills
