Assistant Weaving Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

  • Responsibilities
    • Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Make repairs as needed from warp board
    • Perform draw-ins as necessary
    • Draw-In work for new warps or new patterns
    • Pull over work after draw-in or any work relative to drawing of warps to keep looms operating
    • Perform weave work as necessary
    • Prepare looms for new warps, ensuring leases are correct with correct number of ends
    • Flag looms for fixer after pulling over for start up
    • Maintain outstanding housekeeping
    • All other duties assigned

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Must be able to read and write
    • Good communication skills
    • Superior attention to details and quality
    • Must be able to perform significate weight overhead
    • Must be able to stand most of the shift and have dexterity
    • Must be knowledgeable of yarns and patterns
    • Good organizational skills
    • Work in climate control area

  • Qualifications

    Bachelors or minimum 2 years equivalent relevant work experience.
