Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to lead our team and oversee all aspects of our care programs. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a background in behavioral health and autism care, possessing both the educational credentials and practical experience to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care.
- Recruiting staff, interviewing, hiring, and orientation.
- Ensure employee and resident files are organized and in compliance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the individual needs of our members.
- Lead, manage, and support a team of caregivers, therapists, and support staff, fostering a culture of empathy and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to meet the evolving needs of members.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies related to behavioral health and assisted living care.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external healthcare professionals to maintain consistent and high-quality care for members.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring program sustainability.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in behavioral health care.
- Handle crisis situations effectively, maintaining a calm and organized response to ensure the safety of members and staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, or have completed CBRF administrator course.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the behavioral health or autism care field.
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and behavioral health management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in a healthcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.
