    Associate Apparel Designer – What You Will Do

    You will create unique apparel designs and work alongside an experienced team of designers. You will:

    • Create original fashion apparel designs for fashion apparel for every retail season (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter), focusing on womenswear
    • Create unique fabric/prints for yarn-dyed, knits, and women fabrics including repeat patterns
    • Evaluate fabrics, prints, garment samples, handlooms, strike-offs, and lab dips
    • Research and interpret emerging trends and best practices to create seasonal designs that follow brand aesthetic
    • Prioritize multiple design projects while meeting tight deadlines
    • Participate in overseeing sample fittings and photoshoots

    Associate Apparel Designer – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

    • You are tech-savvy and very experienced using Adobe Illustrator
    • You have experience in designing apparel and understand technical aspects of apparel design
    • You understand garment construction, fit, fabric, and color
    • You are self-directed and driving your own career, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
      • Can provide an updated professional portfolio of your past work, including original designs, Tech Packs, and patterns
      • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, Costume Design, or related field of study
    • You are happy to work in office, Monday through Friday in Fort Worth, Texas

    Associate Apparel Designer – You Might Have

    • Experience as an apparel designer for womenswear
    • Experience with eCommerce fashion merchandise

    Compensation $23 hourly, depending on experience, with opportunity for overtime.
