Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our law firm. In this position, you will be given the flexibility of remote working, with some in-office work. The general scope of your duties as an associate attorney will include the performance of legal research, draft of legal documents, preparation of status reports to clients, taking depositions, and conducting discovery. You will gain experience and have the opportunity to learn from seasoned, highly respected attorneys. This position is ideal for someone seeking to avoid the daily stress of driving in the traffic of Southern California. All applicants must be licensed in California. Responsibilities
Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research
Prepare for and attend legal proceedings
Provide legal counsel in conjunction with supervising partners
Attend depositions
Prepare Pre-trial documents
Qualifications
Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school and California bar license
Must have a good work ethic and strong attention to details
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think outside the box
Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
