We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team, specializing in reckless driving and DUI defense. The ideal candidate will have a passion for criminal defense, strong litigation skills, and a commitment to advocating for clients' rights. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court for reckless driving and DUI cases • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents • Develop case strategies and manage cases from inception to resolution • Negotiate with prosecutors and other legal representatives • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to reckless driving and DUI • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • Admission to the State Bar of Virginia • No experience necessary, but 1-3 years of experience in criminal defense preferable with a focus on reckless driving and DUI cases • Strong understanding of State DUI and Traffic laws • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently • High ethical standards and professional integrity • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys Compensation: $75,000 - $150,000 yearly
