We want to be known for helping clients come out of an extremely difficult process feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. Joyner Law is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team to continue that growth. As an associate attorney at Joyner Law, you will not be held responsible for making sales or maintaining sales metrics. You will not be held responsible for marketing or conducting free consults. We bill on a flat fee, so you don't need to track every billable hour. You don't have to wear a suit every day. In fact, you don't even need to come to the office if you don't want to. You must, however, have experience in criminal law. While we love to help people learn and grow in a new practice area, we are not open to that right now. We need an Attorney with experience in Criminal Defense, preferably managing DUI cases. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. If selected, you'll receive assigned equipment and comprehensive training on navigating our office systems and procedures, ensuring a smooth transition into your new role. Optional office space and paid parking located on 18th Street in Denver is available for your optional full-time or hybrid use. You'll be entrusted with an existing docket of DUI and Criminal Defense cases, and you'll be granted the autonomy to handle them from start to finish, including court appearances and potential jury trials. We're seeking someone who not only excels in the courtroom but also values client relationships. Your role will extend beyond legal representation; you'll be instrumental in guiding clients through the legal process, earning their trust, and securing the best possible outcomes for their cases. A highly skilled and well-trained Case Manager will work with you to draft filings, manage your entire calendar, field questions from clients, and assist with trial prep as needed. We enjoy occasional outings as a firm, including dinner at Casa Bonita and conquering the Manitou Incline together. Salary is a base of $90,000 to $100000, with the opportunity to earn up to $140,000+ through our aggressive bonus structure (based on revenue earned for the firm). Simple IRA with matching, employer-paid benefits (Health and Dental for employee), court holidays and paid time off are included in the hiring package.
