Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental Insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Paid sick time • Vision insurance • Family and medical leave Responsibilities: • Conduct client consultations to assess case needs and establish legal strategies. • Oversee and mentor legal assistants, and manage administrative staff in client-related matters. • Develop tailored strategies for each case, guiding clients in gathering the required documentation and information for robust case support. • Research complex immigration law issues, apply thorough legal analysis, and propose innovative solutions to resolve client cases. • Handle a diverse range of immigration cases, including defensive and affirmative asylum, U visas, T visas, VAWA, waivers, and other humanitarian-based immigration matters. • Prepare for and represent clients in immigration court proceedings, including Master Calendar hearings, Individual hearings, Motions to Reopen, and other removal-related hearings. • Draft, review, and file timely briefs, motions, and written pleadings, supported by comprehensive legal research. • With the help of support staff, provide regular timely case updates to clients, ensuring clarity and responsiveness throughout the legal process. • Lead weekly team meetings to coordinate case strategies, provide updates, and train support staff. Qualifications: • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Candidates must have passed the bar exam • Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school Job Qualifications • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S.-based law school. • Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in removal proceedings, humanitarian, and family-based immigration as a licensed attorney. • Proficiency in legal research software, particularly Lexis and Westlaw. • Excellent written, and verbal communication, and research skills. • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines and work independently under pressure. • Strong client service orientation, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. • Admission to practice law in the United States is in good standing. Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 Plus Bonus
