Our law firm is looking for the next associate attorney to assist in providing legal counsel to our clients. You will be responsible for an assigned caseload. You will be expected to conduct legal research, draft documents such as file reviews, problem solve, communicate with clients, and maintain client files. You will work closely with 3 case managers, an intake specialist and a negotiator. Responsibilities: • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Qualifications: • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA) • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients • Successful completion of the bar exam Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
