    Job description

    Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., a well-respected law firm based in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to join the Virginia team of our Creditors’ Rights practice. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with the firm’s other Virginia lawyers and the broader Creditors’ Rights department to deliver outstanding service to the firm’s clients with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

    The ideal candidate will have civil litigation experience in Virginia. All candidates must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Virginia.

    Virginia and or Maryland or North Carolina licensure is a plus. The individual must be self-motivated with strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and communication skills. Recent law school graduates who have passed the Virginia bar are welcome to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience and ability. This employment opportunity is immediate.

    · Knowledge of debt collection preferred

    · Courtroom experience (both motion practice and trial) preferred

    Responsibilities:

    As an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights practice, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks related to legal debt collection, bench-bar relations, consumer protection, and the potential for frequent court appearances.
