Responsibilities: • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients Qualifications: • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients • Successful completion of the bar exam • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA) • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school • Licensed attorney in good standing in Minnesota • 1-3 years of experience in family law Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 yearly
