    Job description

    Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., a well-respected law firm based in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to join the firm’s Secured Creditors’ Rights practice. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with the firm’s other Virginia lawyers and the broader Secured Creditors’ Rights department to deliver outstanding service to the firm’s clients, which include many of the nation’s premier lenders and mortgage servicers. The firm’s Secured Creditors’ Rights department represents various lenders and mortgage servicers in the recovery of defaulted loans secured by real estate throughout Virginia by providing real estate foreclosure and related litigation and bankruptcy services. The applicant should have excellent communication skills and be admitted to practice law in Virginia. Real estate, title, bankruptcy and/or litigation experience is a plus but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience and ability. This employment opportunity is immediate.

    Candidate qualifications:

    · Admitted and in good standing to practice law in Virginia

    · Exceptional attention to detail

    · Hardworking and easy to work with

    · Excellent organizational skills

    · Strong verbal and written communication skills

    · Proficient with technology

    · Knowledge of real estate, title, bankruptcy, and/or debt collection, a plus

    · Courtroom experience (both motion practice and trial) a plus
