    We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our California team based in Los Angeles at Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP. - The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of civil litigation experience, with expertise in Securities/FINRA and/or Professional Liability Defense. CA admission is a must. - Looking for individuals with exceptional writing and analytical skills. - Competitive salary offered, ranging from $90,000 to $140,000 based on experience. - Enjoy the flexibility of a Hybrid work schedule with this exciting opportunity. Responsibilities: Associate responsibilities include representation of clients in legal proceedings, research and preparation of legal documents and pleadings, handling discovery, and assisting partners/clients in legal transactions. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Efficient management of multiple cases. • Timely preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery to opposing parties. • Participate in mediations, hearings, and depositions as required. • Client interaction and problem resolution as it relates to cases. • Integration of best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases. • Evaluation of findings and development of strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases. • On-time completion of reports/projects, in adherence to partner and client needs/guidelines. • Accurate and timely recording of billable hours, in adherence to client guidelines and Firm policy. Qualifications: • Strong understanding of complex legal matters, ability to identify core issues, and apply relevant legal principles. • Proficiency in federal and state rules of civil procedures. • Demonstrated effective time-management and organizational skills, with a focus on prioritizing tasks efficiently. • Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent research and proofreading capabilities. • In-depth knowledge of legal procedures and current industry developments. • Familiarity with computer systems for document maintenance, updates, and modifications. • Competency in legal technology tools like LexisNexis and time-billing software. • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Strong legal research and writing abilities. • Willingness to work additional hours as needed to manage caseload effectively. Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000 yearly DOE
