    Job Description

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Associate Business Affairs Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of talent-related issues, contract review/auditing and production-related billing. Other duties would be to assist with a variety of other production-related responsibilities.

    ­­­Day to Day:

    • Pays talent residuals.
    • Processes talent and production-related invoices.
    • Books talent and prepares talent contracts.
    • Processes talent contracts for payment.
    • Prepares cast completion reports.
    • Prepares and sends purchase orders and other paperwork to vendors.
    • Researches 3rd party brands, names, accolades, etc. and secures permission to reference.
    • Licenses stock music and stock footage.
    • Reports music royalties.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Experience:

    • Six months to one year internship and/or one year office experience is preferred
    • Six months to one year of Business Affairs experience is preferred.
    • Some knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA commercials contract is preferred.

    Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

    Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must be self-motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills. Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to a variety of personalities and work situations.

There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs. is required. Overtime, including evenings and/ or weekend work- may be required. There may be occasion to travel.
