Responsibilities: As our Associate Director of Sales you'll assist in leading the property's sales efforts, focusing on implementing sales strategies, achieving revenue goals, and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction. • Work with the sales leader to understand and effectively implement the sales strategy for specific segments (e.g., group, transient, association, corporate). • Provide leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential, setting personal booking goals as an example. • Approve space release for catering to maximize revenue, potentially in the absence of a Business Evaluation Manager. • Analyze and report on sales and financial data to track performance and identify opportunities. • Ensure exceptional customer service to drive guest loyalty and satisfaction. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. • Assist in mentoring and training sales staff, potentially including recruitment and hiring. • Assist in developing and implementing promotions, both internal and external, with a focus on attracting new business. • Participate in sales calls with sales team members to acquire new business and/or close on business. • Possess a deep understanding of the sales process, market trends, competition, and customer needs. • Secure business through effective negotiation and creative selling skills. • Achieve personal and team-related revenue goals. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and/or union requirements. Qualifications: • 4 or more years of hotel sales experience. • Prior DOS, ADOS, or Senior Sales experience required. • Hilton experience preferred.
