Our client, a top-tier global law firm, is seeking a high-performing Employment Litigation Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their Los Angeles office. This role is ideal for AmLaw firm associates who thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, have a strong passion for employment law, and are looking to advance their career at a firm that prioritizes excellence, client service, and associate development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigate a variety of employment matters, including:
- Wage-hour class actions
- PAGA class actions
- Single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases
- Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and manage discovery
- Advise clients on California employment law compliance and risk mitigation strategies
- Handle non-compete/trade secret disputes and traditional labor matters (preferred but not required)
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners, and clients on high-impact employment cases
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- 3-4 years of employment litigation experience at a top law firm
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Admitted to practice in California
- Proven ability to work efficiently in high-performance environments
Compensation:
- 2025/2024 Class Year: $225,000
- 2023 Class Year: $235,000
- 2022 Class Year: $260,000
- 2021 Class Year: $310,000
- 2020 Class Year: $365,000
- 2019 Class Year: $390,000
- 2018 Class Year: $420,000
