Who we are:

Our client is seeking an Associate, Fund Accountant. They are an independent investment adviser and asset manager that provides research, advisory, and investment servicesto pension funds, endowments, and foundations with over $100 billion of assets.

The role:

The position is primarily responsible for fund accounting and pricing for our client’s Enhanced Lending Fund and Cascade Private Capital Fund.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily valuation schedules for investments in private investment funds, preferred and common equity, and warrants, ensuring that capital activity, accruals and valuation updates are reflected properly.
• Prepare and reconcile daily position files.
• Incorporate updated prices, valuations, and valuation inputs into daily pricing files.
• Generate and maintain daily and monthly performance reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of annual and semi-annual financial statements and quarterly schedules of investments.
• Assist in the preparation for annual audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of finance or accounting experience
• Audit experience a plus.
• Private equity investor accounting experience also a plus.
• Candidates should have a strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Candidates must be detail-oriented, be able to meet tight deadlines and have excellent communication skills.

Compensation:

Targeting 100- 120k base plus bonus to 10k

Location:

Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Marina Del Rey
