    Job Description

    The Associate Manager, Category Management role will be key in driving the continued expansion of Universal’s MOD business, which is live across multiple online marketplaces. This candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of launching approved designs across various sales channels while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.

    The Associate Manger will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Retail Sales and Marketing, Brand Merch, Creative Design, Copy, MOD Operations, Accounting, and Analytics—to ensure the monthly roadmap is successfully managed and executed. This role will also contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and data accuracy initiatives to optimize product listings and sales performance.This position will report to the Category Manager, Merchandise on Demand.

    Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with Manager on Roadmap creation
    • Ensure that all designs in the monthly roadmap are uploaded to the appropriate sales channel and meet the product listing requirements set forth by each retailer
    • Assist on Marketing campaigns and SEO for advertising
    • Provide Accounting with compiled sales, earnings, and tax remittance forms on a monthly basis via retailer-specific portals
    • Participate in departmental and team meetings, provide weekly status updates on any challenges that may arise in executing deliverables
    • Works with external account team contacts to find system efficiencies or help solve for system challenges
    • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the needs of the team

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in E-commerce, Retail, Consumer Products, or a related industry.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management, pivot tables, and reporting.
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
    • Experience working with online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) or retailer-specific platforms.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and consistently with supervisor and cross-functional teams

    Preferred Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

    Additional Requirements:

    • Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
