    Job Description

    The Associate Manager of Communications is responsible for working alongside the Universal Products & Experiences’ Global Communications team to execute daily external communications activities and programs, as well as some operational team responsibilities. The role reports to one of the Senior Directors of Global Communications and will coordinate with the team in the development and creation of managing licensee partner activities and initiatives, communicating directly with key stakeholders, tracking and creating coverage reports, drafting press materials and/or revising partner press materials, overseeing product ordering, inventory and mailings, maintaining media and influencer lists, as well as supporting event production.

    Salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 Annual Salary

    ** Responsibilities include:**

    • Collaborates with the Global Comms team to execute daily PR work
    • Manages key franchise initiatives, in partnership with Comms team
    • Drafts and/or reviews PR collateral and publicity materials
    • Oversees department operational tasks, such as website maintenance, warehouse inventory and vendor management
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather materials for press development
    • Manages media mailers, product ordering/requests, and creation of necessary materials for specific campaigns
    • Maintains media and influencer lists based on campaigns/projects
    • Monitors press and influencer coverage, creates coverage tracker and clips coverage as needed
    • Supports event staffing needs, such as: media check-in, production help, product deliveries
    • Light to moderate travel may be required
    • Helps to maintain team budget and oversees the processing and tracking of invoices and payments to vendors
    • Other Global Comms team duties as assigned, including internal communications like newsletter development and website management

    ** Qualifications/Requirements:**

    • Minimum 3-5 years of PR, Publicity or Communications experience, agency or in-house
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, as well as PowerPoint/Keynote; experience in Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop a plus
    • Knowledge of all basic office equipment required
    • Bachelor's degree required in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field

    ** Additional Requirements:**

    • Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
