    Job Description

    The Associate Manager, Trade Marketing - Run – North America will make our Salomon brand and outdoor product stories come to life with key account partners, both in-store and online. This role ensures execution of point-of-sale marketing programs and incentives. They will support the production, execution, and tracking of trade marketing programs for our best partners in the Run Specialty and General Sporting Goods channels and assist with other projects as requested.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

    Collaboration and Partnership

    • Work collaboratively with the marketing & category managers each season to understand category objectives with all accounts as assigned.
    • Consistently collaborate with sales to identify seasonal business objectives & track progress.
    • Collaborate with the brand marketing team to understand the seasonal campaign calendar and asset toolkit and ensure timely delivery of all campaign assets to key account partners.

    Planning and Strategy

    • Work with Sr. Manager, Key Account & Trade Marketing to present brand strategy, category objectives, and channel results to both internal stakeholders and external account partners at seasonal checkpoints as assigned.
    • Coordinate regular reporting and planning meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain National Account go-to-market calendars, campaign rollouts, and recaps for all accounts as assigned.

    Execution and Management

    • Support execution of designated key account joint marketing plans by managing content deliveries, seeding & sample distribution, and other tasks as required by joint marketing plan.
    • Own the execution of all events & activations that are created in partnership with key accounts.
    • Execute and track all initiatives related to shop pro training, incentives, seeding, and spiff programs.
    • Own & execute trade shows as assigned.
    • Manage trade marketing working budget for all assigned accounts.

    Reporting and Optimization

    • Provide reporting on campaign execution and sell-through metrics.
    • Audit account websites to ensure whs.com presence is optimally merchandised, that information is current, relevant, accurate, and in alignment with brand guidelines.
    • Manage seeding programs in partnership with assigned accounts to ensure review generation on whs.com.

    • 3-5 years of experience in brand or trade marketing, or related field.
    • B.S. or B.A. In Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills
