    Job Description

    _ Consulting Skills_ ****

    • Client delivery as part of an on-site or remote project team, able to define the framework and structure of deliverables, carrying out the production of complex deliverables
    • Manage the work, activities, and timelines of work for both their selves and their team, identifies priorities and workflows for interested parties
    • Utilizing a higher-level understanding of methodological concepts, coaches teammates in preparing client deliverables utilizing tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project and Visio, designing key deliverables for projects and supporting other consultants in the production of their deliverables
    • Present complex ideas, critical points and decisions required to team members and client contacts, including middle and top management
    • Perform simple and complex research and business analysis to solve for customer business challenges/issues to present unique, tailored solutions utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data
    • Manages internal team by promoting teamwork, motivate and help consultants to improve
    • Demonstrate credibility and legitimacy with client, capable of challenging client approaches and provide new directions, allowing the customer to evolve and deepens relationship
    • Defines the project framework and organization, managing one or different projects at a time, guarantees the follow-up of these assignments
    • Provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks, and overall program health
    • Responsible for the work streams of a complex project and takes the lead on simple projects
    • Maintain program sites as a repository for all project information

    • Maintains a deep understanding of business concepts, issues and challenges and key knowledge to master a business expertise
    • Cultivate knowledge related to a specific business challenge, issue, or deepen understanding within a sector and function domain

    • Takes a leading role within internal firm knowledge-share activities and organizations, ensuring complete knowledge and competency transfer to other consultants
    • Help contribute and support Sia’s growing U.S. Wealth & Asset Management practice

    • Write business proposals and presentations autonomously
    • Detect, trace, and qualify business opportunities
    • Relay information relevant to new business activities and prospects to manager, team, and business unit/line leaders

    • Supervise a project team internally and on client assignment

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in a Business or related field
    • 4+ years of recent client-facing management consulting experience
    • FS background preferred
    • Moderate knowledge and skill in wealth & assets management
    • Knowledge of the full Wealth and/or Asset Management value chain (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office)
    • Experience in complex transformations or technology implementations in Wealth and/or Asset Management, including business analysis, sourcing model, data model, organizational model, and technical architecture
    • Experience in designing future state operating models in Wealth and/or Asset Management due to various change catalysts (e.g., core platform change, new product, merger/acquisition, start up, cost reduction, outsourcing, globalization)
    • Specific subject matter expertise regarding transformation and a strong business understanding of Wealth and/or Asset Management products and services
    • Trained to moderate knowledge and skill in project management
    • Experience supporting client interview sessions - taking accurate notes, providing meeting minutes, scheduling client meetings, etc.
    • Experience supporting the construction of executive presentations
    • Proven communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Act as a supportive team player who actively develops relationships and is eager to share knowledge with colleagues and our clients
    • Flexibility in approach and a willingness to adapt quickly and take initiative when working in unstructured environments with limited supervision
    • An ability to transform your domain knowledge and project experiences into published content for Sia Partners Insights

    Office Workplace Guidelines

    Sia is committed to providing a flexible workplace environment that supports client, business, and market needs. Consultants located in our primary market office locations—New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco—are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week.
