Our early childhood program, located in Winooski is hiring for Associate teachers for one of our preschool classrooms.     What You'll Do:

    Collaborate: Work with teachers to implement quality early childhood programs

    Plan & Lead: Assist in lesson planning and lead activities

    Ensure Safety: Supervise activities to keep children safe

    Organize: Help maintain a neat and organized classroom

    Support: Assist in swim lessons, gym lessons, and field trips

    Communicate: Share relevant information with teachers and the director, and address child concerns appropriately

    Engage Families: Maintain professional communication with parents and guardians

    Confidentiality: Keep all information confidential

    Compliance: Help maintain state Child Care Licensing requirements

    Requirements:

    Must be 20 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED and meet one (1) of the following qualifications:

    A Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Three (3) Certificate; or

    Associate Degree with a major or concentration in Early Childhood, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education or Child and Family Services; or

    A Certificate of Completion from the Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Program; or

    A Child Care Certificate of Completion from the Community College of Vermont; or

    Successful completion of twenty-one (21) college credits with an Early Childhood or School Age focus.

    Ability to pass federal background and state fingerprint checks
