    Job Description

    NBCUniversal Local is seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (Spanish and English) Associate Producer of Audience Retention to join our team. This role focuses on growing and engaging digital audiences through loyalty products such as newsletters, apps and FAST (free advertising-supported streaming television) channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about newsletters, digital media and audience engagement, eager to contribute to innovative retention strategies, and ready to make an impact on NBCU’s bilingual audiences.     Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the Audience Retention Manager, Editorial, Analytics, Product team, and external vendors to execute bilingual audience engagement and retention strategies.
    • Identify and act on opportunities within the daily news cycle to drive retention initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders.
    • Support and implement retention strategies for FAST channels across NBCU Local core platforms and third-party streaming services.
    • Assist in App Store Optimization (ASO) to improve app discoverability and user engagement.
    • Analyze audience behavior and campaign performance data, sharing actionable insights to refine retention strategies.
    • Develop and manage newsletter retention strategies for NBC, Telemundo, and Regional Sports Networks by:
    1. Building and optimizing retention tactics
    2. Maintaining healthy subscriber lists
    3. Creating and maintaining user journeys that include welcome and reengagement emails
    4. Enhancing newsletter templates for improved performance
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Fluency in Spanish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
    • 1–3 years of experience in editorial, audience engagement, social media, or a related digital media role.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
    • Experience working in SailThru, MailChimp or another email marketing platform
    • Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, TikTok, Instagram) and best SEO practices.

    Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
