    Job Description

    Peacock Kids is a division within Peacock that develops, produces, and distributes digitally native content for kids on a variety of digital platforms.

    We’re seeking an Associate Producer to help grow our custom video content and champion NBCU kids & family franchises across YouTube and Peacock. This position would report to the Head of Development & Current Series.The ideal candidate is a rockstar creative producer with a natural instinct for social video. Especially seeking a jack of all trades who can film and edit vertical shorts; script and produce longer VOD episodes that increase brand awareness; coordinate between departments to keep projects on track and in accordance with the creative brief; and assist producers on set as needed. Above all else, must have a strong passion for producing high-quality, meaningful and FUN content that meets kids where they are.

    ** Responsibilities:**

    • Brainstorm, develop and produce kid-targeted videos, shorts and series for YouTube and Peacock
    • Collaborate with 3rd Party Producers and act as a liaison between creative and the brand (our clients)
    • Support in-house producers by researching and procuring talent/vendors for their specific projects
    • Pitch quality branded content that exemplifies the voice of the brands we promote
    • Partner with Physical Production to develop budgets and shoot calendars
    • Collaborate with Legal on all contracts and clearances
    • Collaborate with Content Strategy team to identify trends and provide creative assets to help with marketing and optimization
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in producing digital short-form content and/or traditional television
    • Extreme knowledge of social video and/or YouTube. Experience producing TikTok, Reels or Shorts is preferred.
    • Basic camera operation and video editing skills a plus
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with relevant teams and stakeholders
    • Ability to develop creative ideas for branded and original content
    • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
    • Operate efficiently and with empathy in a dynamic work environment
    • Ability to prioritize and reprioritize deliverables in the best interest of the team

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
    • Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
