Resurgence Veterinary Mobility is seeking an Associate Rehabilitation Veterinarian with certifications in acupuncture and/or rehabilitation or an interest in pursuing certification. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is interested in providing excellent patient care and who will work collaboratively with our Managing Veterinarian and support staff.

Resurgence Veterinary Mobility (RVM) opened in December 2022 providing physical rehabilitation, therapy, sports medicine and pain management for Atlanta area dogs and cats.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Rehabilitative Care Expertise: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using advanced rehabilitation techniques and equipment to improve pet mobility and alleviate pain.
Client Communication: Build strong, trusting relationships with pet owners by clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
Medical Knowledge and Procedure: Perform comprehensive physical examinations, accurately diagnose conditions, and carry out rehabilitative procedures such as laser therapy, underwater treadmill therapy, and therapeutic exercises.
Team Leadership: Mentor and support our team of Rehabilitation Therapists and Assistants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
Record Keeping: Maintain precise and thorough medical records for each patient, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and client communications.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary rehabilitation and sports medicine and participate in ongoing personal and professional development.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with the following qualities and experience:
D.V.M. licensed in current state
One of the following is preferred: DACVSMR, CCRP, CCRT, CCRV, VMRT, CRPM
Applicants interested in pursuing any of the above certifications should apply. Paid Internship opportunities.
Additional Certifications a plus:
Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (CVSMT)
Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA or CVAT)
Certified Pain Practitioner (CVPP)
Those working towards any of the above certifications will also be considered.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a D.V.M. in rehabilitation and sports medicine focused practice is desirable, but not required.
Has a genuine passion and/or interest for veterinary rehabilitation.
Enjoys working collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
Demonstrates empathy and a deeper understanding and sensitivity towards the needs and emotions of both pets and their owners, ensuring a compassionate approach to care.
Shows compassion, care and concern for the well-being of animals, striving to alleviate their pain and enhance their quality of life.
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to effectively convey information, listen to concerns, and build trusting relationships with clients and team members.
Exhibits leadership and has a natural ability to guide, inspire, and support team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Approaches challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, ensuring the best outcomes for patients and maintaining a smooth clinic operation.
What we offer:
Competitive Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
