    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate Revenue Cycle Management Analyst (Revenue Cycle-Initiatives).

    In this role, the successful candidate serves as staff to executive level personnel for the purpose of special projects as assigned with the Health System regarding revenue opportunities. Responsibilities are primarily related to CDM maintenance charge capture billing issues and additional service revenue.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Provides knowledge transfer and support to RMD staff
    * Performs data collection tracking and analytical duties to respond to key issues increase/track reimbursement opportunities and process efficiency and in support of the decision making process of leadership from multidisciplinary perspectives
    * Assist in identifying trends for process improvement projects with departments with the purpose of increasing overall net revenue and charge capture rates and securing optimal efficiency
    * Works collaboratively with Auditors and department management/administration to understand services provided to explore and capitalize on opportunities for increased reimbursement
    * Based on charge audit trends identifies administrative errors inaccurate service code assignment and discrepancies in interpretation of charging and/or reimbursement methodologies
    * Data mines from hospital information systems and runs reports as requested to find opportunities for revenue generation
    

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Finance Business Management or a related field Strong analytical skills works independently demonstrates initiative problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work with changing deadlines and shifting priorities. Proficient in the use of a personal computer including MS Office Word Excel PowerPoint. Effective oral written communication interpersonal and presentation skills required

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Previous experience in a hospital finance setting i.e reimbursement charge master patient financial services hospital operations etc PowerPoint and EPIC Resolute Billing knowledge. Ideal candidate will have excellent analytic presentation and communication skills

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $62,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
