    Job Description

    The Opportunity:

    The Associate Scenic Artist is an entry level position whose duties include preparing props and scenery for paint. He/she should be familiar with mixing custom colors and color matching, assisting in the installation and strike of sets while helping organize inventory, maintaining cleanliness of the shop and equipment and have general knowledge with the use of table saws, paint guns, power sanders and a variety of hand tools.
    The role will report to the Supervisor and will work at headquarters in El Segundo, CA.

    What Your Impact Will Be:

    • Support team as needed with painting, assembly and installation of sets.
    • Keep tools and materials stocked and stored correctly.
    • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
    • This is a physical job that requires standing for long periods of time, participating in team lifts of materials weighing up to 50 pounds while abiding by all safety guidelines.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 1-3 years’ experience in related field
    • Passion for their work and commitment to delivering first in class assets
    • Team player who thrives on collaboration
    • Detail oriented and ability to translate design ideas to the final product
    • Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.) while stocking supplies and moving scenery
    • Ability to work over-time and occasional weekend

    The base hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 and $23.00
    **This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
