JOB SUMMARY:
The Customer Care Lead is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in achieving the daily performance metrics of the Customer Care Team. This is a ‘player-coach’ position that enables the Lead to directly assist customers as well as build the service and retention skills of the team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Medicare and Health eligible individuals to select the appropriate health insurance coverage
- Present potential solutions using our world class suite of insurance products
- Assist customers in identifying priority features and benefits
- Conform to and abide by the procedures, rules and requirements of Assurance, all regulatory bodies, and the state or states where the Sales Agent operates
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
- Utilize the established communication and sales process
- Conduct coaching sessions
- Compile and report on performance targets
- Follow compliance guidelines and mandatory disclosures and assist team in so doing
- Create, maintain and enforce work schedules
- Represent the voice of the consumer; provide feedback and insights received from customers to the department
- Provide best in class customer service through active listening and resourceful problem solving skills
- Actively participate in a creation and maintenance of a customer centric culture
- Build lifetime value and improve retention metrics through service

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or the equivalent is required
- Health resident insurance license and required registration
- Ability to be licensed in all 50 States
- Must be able to pass AHIP and all qualifying carrier certifications
- Ambitious sales minded with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective customers
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively in a customer care and sales environment
- Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a fast-paced environment, transactional
- Analytical skills to understand key performance metrics
- Minimum Internet Speed (Hardwired): 30mb down/20mb up
- Must enjoying working with people and being part of a team environment
- Previous experience selling Medicare or health insurance products preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
