Job Description

Atkins David LLC is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated workers’ compensation defense law firm located in downtown Atlanta.  Our attorneys represent employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters throughout Georgia.

The firm is seeking highly-motivated associates to join the firm with 0-2 and 3-5 years of experience, as well as a senior associate.  Workers’ compensation defense experience is preferred.  This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working remotely, since the firm provides the option to work multiple days a week at home.

Atkins David is unique in that the firm gives attorneys meaningful responsibility early in their careers and actively supports their professional development, including efforts to establish their own clients.  Our associates learn how to manage claims from start to finish, ultimately with limited partner supervision.  Duties and responsibilities include:

·         Representation of clients at trials and mediations

·         Drafting client report letters, motions and post-trial briefs

·         Taking and defending claimant, witness and doctor depositions

·         Developing strategies leading to efficient resolution of cases
