Job Description
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
REAL ESTATE, LOAN CLOSING, ACCOUNTING OR STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE - 1031 exchanges involve the sale of at least one property and the purchase of at least one property. We work closely with real estate attorneys, title companies and closing agents, sending instructions packages, reviewing documents and following up to obtain documents needed for our client files.
CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE – Because a 1031 exchange is a technical transaction, and most clients are not familiar with the requirements, we are dedicated to being as friendly, diligent and helpful as possible. We also work closely with CPAs, attorneys and other allied professionals involved in the transactions, and also try to make our interactions and communications with them extremely easy.
DETAIL ORIENTED NATURE - The technical nature of 1031 –and the 6 month arch of an exchange- requires an exchange consultant to work on numerous files at various stages with ease. Multiple details must be completed to comply with the 1031 Regulations.
STRONG COMPUTER AND MATH SKILLS - Extremely necessary as documents, correspondence and filings are all done electronically and utilize different software to track and complete.
NOT REQUIRED? Prior 1031 experience. If you have a number of the qualifications above, we will be able to train you in 1031.
Salary commensurate with experience. References required.
