    COMPANY SUMMARY:

    Atlanta Winsupply is a part of the larger Winsupply Inc. group that is headquartered in Ohio with hundreds of independent branches all across the United States. Our office, located in Lithonia, GA, is a leading supplier and fabricator for the fire protection market in the South Eastern United States. We provide our customer base with the required materials to successfully install, maintain and repair their fire protection systems. Atlanta Winsupply also provides fabricated materials, such as pipe, made to order for the customer’s specific requirements. We pride ourselves on our order accuracy, fabrication quality and our outstanding customer service. As we continue to operate and grow within the residential, commercial and industrial fire protection markets, we’re looking for the right individuals to join our team and give our customers the priority service they rightfully deserve.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Inside Salesperson’s primary responsibility is to sell products and render prompt and courteous service to customers over the telephone and in person. The Inside Salesperson must also support outside sales activity and work with all company personnel to ensure quality customer service.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare accurate and timely quotations on specific jobs as required by customers and outside salespeople.
    • Provide pricing, product, product substitutions, delivery, back-order and warranty information as requested.
    • Handle special orders and non-stock item orders.
    • Coordinate the return of merchandise with customers and warehouse staff.
    • Prepare quotes for quantity order, in writing if requested, and prepare submittal forms tailored to each customer’s needs.
    • Inform customers of promotions and quantity purchase prices.
    • Keep abreast of new products and apply knowledge of product usage in selling additional materials to the customer consistent with job specifications. Continually work toward achieving familiarity with entire product base.
    • Investigate and resolve, if possible, customer inquiries and complaints.
    • Maintain a consistent and positive customer service image when interacting with customers.
    • Coordinate sales activity with shipping and credit departments.
    • Keep catalogs and price lists up-to-date.
    • Assist in training new sales personnel and attend company meetings as requested.
    • Support sales activity in all other areas as needed, including Outside sales staff and Counter Sales.
    • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
    • The Inside Salesperson may become involved with such other duties as their manager deems necessary.
    • Complete career track training in WIN University for Inside Sales.

    QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum Qualifications:
      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • Strong aptitude in regards to basic Microsoft Office applications.
      • Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to effectively handle customer and vendors in a positive, service-oriented fashion.
      • Effective communication and organizational skills.
      • Education and/or experience in industry necessary to operate as explained above.
      • High degree of math competency and ability to maintain arithmetic and statistical accuracy.
      • Ability to set priorities and work under minimal supervision.
      • Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • 5+ years in a sales and/or customer service role.
      • 5+ years working in the fire protection industry.
      • Experience working with Google Workspace (formerly known as G-Suite)
      • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

    • Able to sit and perform computer related functions for extended periods of time.
    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
    • Safely lift and handle material weighing up to 50lbs.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. from a stationary position.
