We are seeking a Recycling Sorter/Heavy Lifter who can lift 55 - 65 pounds easily for a client in Raleigh, NC.
This day shift position works from 6 am to 5 pm, Tuesday to Friday.

Our contracted employees for this position receive holiday and vacation pay after working for approximately 6-9 months.

Anyone with warehouse, general labor, or construction experience should apply. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Duties of a Recycling Sorter/Heavy Lifter:

• Sort and segregate recycled waste items (e.g., aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.) from incoming material.

• Deposit recoverable items safely and efficiently into appropriate chutes.

• Assist other employees on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Inspect incoming loads for material that isn't recyclable; remove unacceptable items as required.

• Clean assigned areas by sweeping, raking, and picking up loose debris and glass or moving barrels, cans, and bins.

• Lift heavy objects

• Assist with cleaning inside production machinery

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements of the Recycling Sorter/Heavy Lifter:

• Steel-toed shoes are required.

• Ability to lift 50-65 lbs. safely.

• Ability to work 6 am - 5 pm, Tuesday - Friday.

• Ability to work mandatory overtime from 6 am - 5 pm on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed.

• Able to stand for long periods without a break.

• Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment while consistently lifting 20+ lbs.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Candidates with waste management, warehouse, general labor, and construction experience are encouraged to apply. However, we will train motivated candidates without experience.

• Our recycling plant team's average employment length is over ten years, and most employees average 10-15 hours of overtime per week!
