Job Description
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: This is unlike any other technical recruiter opportunity. Joining forces with us means becoming part of an incredibly talented, inventive and passionate multi-disciplinary team working on a massive world-changing mission. You will fundamentally shape the future of our company based on the people you hire, while learning a ton about how to build a successful startup. And you will have the rare opportunity to see all kinds of fascinating machinery in action from lasers, CT scanners, and 3D printers.
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Atomic Machines is redefining humanity’s relationship with matter. We see a future where our tools will allow us to reorganize matter at the atomic level at will, where we will go from bits to atoms for any object or machine that can be designed in alignment with physical laws. We have begun our journey with the development of a robotic manufacturing platform capable of making an entirely new class of micro-electromechanical (MEMS) devices. We are well funded, have exceptionally strong product/market fit and a clear go-to-market path for the device we will make first with our platform. Our platform breaks traditional manufacturing paradigms and constraints, enabling inexpensive rapid prototyping as well as large scale manufacturing with highly compelling economics.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
Own the entire lifecycle of recruiting including starting a new search, creating a job description development, building a robust evaluation strategy in collaboration with our team, building qualified diverse pipelines, and closing candidates.
Brilliantly craft personalized reach outs to engage passive talent and guide them through our interview process.
Provide a stellar recruiting and interview experience for both candidates and interviewers.
Identify relevant talent from other robotics, hardware, and software companies and continuously build a network of potential candidates.
Collaborate with the team to improve existing recruiting processes and drive scalable changes to our current recruiting strategy.
Provide mentorship or indirect leadership on various recruiting best practices.
Support ad hoc projects as needed and be willing to do whatever it takes at a moment’s notice to capitalize on an opportunity.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
3+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience, including some startup experience.
Proven track record of success building strong partnerships with engineering teams.
Persistent curiosity with a desire to learn as much as possible about our business.
Excellent at driving processes and eliminating roadblocks.
Data-driven and problem-solving mindset to intelligently improve the way we hire
Ability to think critically and creatively while thriving in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment.
A desire and aptitude in building organizations that take into account holistic team composition and long-term vision.
LOCATION: Our offices are based in Berkeley & Santa Clara, CA; with flexible (remote) work options.
